FUJIFILM Corporation has introduced the FUJIFILM X-T50, the latest model in their X Series, known for its outstanding image quality and unique colour reproduction technology. Available in black, silver, and charcoal silver, the X-T50 boasts a compact, lightweight body, weighing approximately 438g.

The FUJIFILM X-T50 is equipped with a 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and the high-speed X-Processor 5 image processing engine. It features a 5-axis in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) function with up to 7.0 stops of compensation, ensuring exceptional image quality and performance in a portable design.

The X-T50’s new standard zoom lens, the FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR, offers versatility for various shooting scenarios. The camera’s Film Simulation Dial on the top plate allows users to switch between Film Simulation Modes, providing a wide range of colour tones straight from the camera.

Exceptional Image Quality: The fifth generation of the FUJIFILM X Series incorporates the back-illuminated 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, offering high resolution and a high signal-to-noise ratio. The improved pixel structure captures more light efficiently, and the electronic shutter can achieve shutter speeds up to 1/180,000 second for precise exposure control.

Enhanced Autofocus Performance: The X-T50 features an AI-based subject detection AF developed with deep learning technology. This advanced AF system can detect and track a wide range of subjects, including fast-moving cars and animals, providing comfortable and accurate shooting.

Compact and Stylish Design: The X-T50’s rounded body design and new grip shape ensure a comfortable hold and stable shooting from all angles. The integrated pop-up flash automatically adjusts light according to the scene, and the 1.84 million-dot tiltable rear LCD monitor offers clear viewing and intuitive control.

Pricing and Availability:

The FUJIFILM X-T50 will be available in the UK from 17 June 2024, priced at £1,299 including VAT. It can be purchased from authorised FUJIFILM retailers, the FUJIFILM House of Photography in London, or the Fujifilm online store. Additionally, two kit options are available:

  • X-T50 + XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Kit: £1,399 including VAT.
