Established in Japan in 1934, Fujifilm is a widely respected camera and film manufacturer that has produced film cameras in a range of formats. More recently it has found success with its X-series of compact and compact or mirrorless system cameras, with the first model, a high-end APS-C format compact camera called the Fuji X100, being launched in September 2010.
