DJI is well known for their drones, such as the recently released Avata 2, and gimbals, DJI RS 4 Pro, along with accessories, but now, DJI has expanded its expertise into portable power solutions with the introduction of the Power 1000 and Power 500 power stations. This really isn’t a surprise as the popularity of these power stations has rapidly grown amongst photographers and videographers working on set as one device will charge almost all equipment utilising a 240v standard wall socket rather than small power banks. They can also be topped up with charge quickly or charged through solar.
This latest product draws from over a decade of research by DJI into battery technology, and these power stations promise fast charging and high capacity to meet the diverse needs of consumers, from outdoor adventurers to professional photographers.
Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at DJI, emphasizes the company’s commitment to addressing the needs of their customer base
“Over the past several years, we’ve seen travellers and content creators around the world increasingly turn to DJI drones and handheld cameras to capture and share their experiences. These users have a demand for fast charging, worry-free, sustainable power consumption and today, we’re glad we can address this with the new DJI portable power stations.”

Quickly Resume Flight and Filming with DJI Power Stations
With specially designed charging cables available separately, DJI Power stations offer a super-fast charge function that can power up DJI drone batteries, such as those used in the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, to about 95% in just 30 minutes. This rapid charging capability ensures that aerial photographers and videographers using drones like the Mavic 3 Pro, as well as filmmakers employing gimbals like the DJI RS4 Pro, can continue their creative work with minimal downtime. By cycling through three drone batteries, users can sustain a full day of shooting, capturing stunning aerial footage and smooth cinematic shots without the interruption of extended charging breaks.
