Nikon has updated its NX Field remote shooting software to add support for its Z series full-frame mirrorless cameras.
NX Field version 1.1.0 adds support for the Nikon Z7 II, Nikon Z6 II, Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z6. The company is planning a future firmware update that will add support for the Nikon Z9.
The update means that Nikon Z series users will now be able to use their cameras remotely and silently. What’s more, the NX Field firmware update adds support for Face- and Eye-detection AF, a hallmark of the Z series cameras’ AF systems.
Another addition from the update is support for interval timer shooting. Find out how to update your software on Nikon’s website.
