Z Cam has announced the E2-M4 cinema camera, price tag $1,499, which can record 4K at up to 160fps as well as ProRes RAW.
The Z Cam E2-M4 can record ProRes RAW using select Atoms monitors and recorders. It also supports ProRes 422 in 10-bit, as well as H.265 and H.264 codecs.
Inside the E2-M4 is a Four Thirds sensor that provides 13 stops of dynamic range (16 stops when set to WDR) and supports 10/12-bit colour.
The new Z Cam cinema camera records DCI and UHD 4K at up to 160fps, as well as Full HD at up to 240fps.
Other features include support for Fast 2.0 memory, a 2.5mm LANC connector, USB Type-C port and an ethernet port. The Z Cam E2-M4 also uses a Micro Four Thirds mount.
