YASHICA, has launched the YASHICA Explorer, a night vision device designed for outdoor adventurers, security professionals, and anyone requiring reliable visibility in low-light conditions. Equipped with OLED + square TFT screens and full-color vision, the Explorer is set to transform the night vision market by offering crystal-clear, detailed images even in challenging environments.

Unlike traditional night vision devices, which often produce grainy, green-tinted visuals, the YASHICA Explorer’s full-color night vision and advanced F/1.0 lens deliver sharp, clear images. This makes it an essential tool for documenting outdoor activities, capturing 48MP photos, and recording 4K videos. The OLED screens allow users to seamlessly switch between different viewing angles, eliminating the need to reposition for optimal shots.

Weighing only 430g, the YASHICA Explorer is designed for comfort during extended use, making it perfect for handheld or helmet-mounted configurations. The device also features a powerful IR illuminator with a viewing distance of up to 600 meters in complete darkness, and up to 2000 meters under certain conditions. With three levels of infrared adjustment and an optical zoom of 3x, users can capture both wide landscapes and close-up details with ease.

Battery life is another strength of the Explorer. The removable 3500mAh battery provides up to 11 hours of operation when IR is off, and users can carry spare batteries for longer sessions. The Explorer also includes a digital anti-shake feature to reduce motion blur, ensuring clear and stable images.

YASHICA’s Explorer is built for both daytime and nighttime use, offering versatility across different lighting conditions. With an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, it is rugged enough for outdoor environments. The device supports external Micro SD storage up to 512GB, providing ample space for videos and images.

The YASHICA Explorer will be available for pre-order on September 10th through Kickstarter at a special price ranging from $258 to $278. Following its launch, the retail price will be set at $389.99.
