Venus Optics has announced the Laowa 14mm f/4 Zero-D lens, which will be available in Nikon F and Canon EF mounts.
The latest in Venus Optics’ Zero-D, or zero distortion, range, the Laowa 14mm f/4 Zero-D lens is comprised of 13 elements in 10 groups, which includes two extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements.
The new Laowa lens also introduces what Venus Optics calls a focusing scale adjustment system, which allows users to calibrate the infinity point of the lens.
Other features include an integrated CPU for electronic control of the aperture on Canon EF-mount cameras and an aperture coupling for Nikon bodies.
The Laowa 14mm f/4 Zero-D lens price tag is just $499 and is available for pre-order from retailers such as B&H Photo Video.
