Vanguard has introduced the VEO METRO Collection, a new range of stylish and lightweight camera bags designed for photographers who want to blend seamlessly into city life while keeping their gear secure. The collection includes backpacks, shoulder bags, a laptop sleeve, and a smartphone pouch, all featuring modern aesthetics and practical storage solutions.
The VEO METRO backpacks are ideal for photographers needing larger storage capacity for extended trips. They offer full rear and side access, a removable daypack compartment, and multiple pockets for accessories. Security features include a hidden rear pocket for valuables and a Smart Tracker pocket designed to hold an AirTag or Tile tracker. The backpacks are available in two sizes: the 25L model (£185) and the 30L model (£200).

Like the backpacks, they include a Smart Tracker pocket for added security. The shoulder bags come in two sizes, with prices ranging from £80 to £100.
The collection also includes a versatile laptop sleeve (£40) designed to protect up to a 16” laptop, which can be used as a standalone shoulder bag or packed inside a larger bag. A dual-compartment smartphone pouch (£20) offers a secure space for mobile devices, passports, and spare batteries, ensuring essentials are always within reach.
Constructed from lightweight yet durable 300D polyester, the bags feature a water-resistant design with UV protection and a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating. High-quality SBS zippers and an included rain cover further enhance their weather resistance, making them reliable companions for urban and travel photographers alike.
The VEO METRO Collection will debut at The Photography Show 2025, with beige, black, and cream models launching in April and a burgundy variant arriving in July. Each bag comes with a two-year warranty, extendable to ten years upon registration.
