Western Digital Group has announced the launch of the SanDisk Professional PRO-G40 SSD. This all-new portable hard drive has been designed with content creators in mind with a rugged go-anywhere design, build, and dual-mode connectivity.
The new drive offers maximum compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 interfaces. Supporting the rugged go-anywhere design is the IP68 rating, which means that it will keep out dust and water. The value of rating is often given to smartphones and offers a good amount of protection against the elements under certain conditions.
