Tamron has announced a new 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD lens for Sony E-mount cameras, priced at £649.99 / €715.
The new Tamron telephoto zoom lens promises to be the world’s smallest and lightest 70-300mm optic, measuring 148mm and weighing just 545g.
Tamron says the new 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD supports Sony features such as Fast Hybrid AF, Eye AF, Direct Manual Focus and technology such as in-camera lens correction and camera-based firmware updates.
The Tamron 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD uses the same 67mm filter diameter as Tamron’s other full-frame mirrorless lenses. The new lens is also moisture-resistant along the lens barrel.
The 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD will be released from 29 October.
