Sony has released a firmware update for the a6500 which it says improves the camera’s image stabilisation in video mode.
Sony announced the a6500 firmware version 1.04, which you can download here.
The Sony a6500, which was launched in October last year, is also known as the ILCE6500, ILCE6500/B and ILCE6500KIT.
The camera boasts a 24.2-million-pixel, 23.5 x 15.6mm APS-C sensor along with a 594-point Hybrid AF system. In video mode it can shoot 4K at 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The update a6500 firmware update requires 500MB of space on your hard drive.
