This all new mobile video kit aims to revolutionize the possibilities of mobile filmmaking, aligning with Apple’s impressive Pro camera system to empower creators.
The new cage for iPhone has been produced through a tight collaboration with Brandon Li, who is celebrated for his minimalist travel cinematography.
The new cage is crafted from precision-machined aluminium alloy and has been cleverly designed so that the video cage is able to accommodate MagSafe wireless charging while boasting multiple expansion interfaces. The new iPhone 15 cahe comes equipped with ten 1/4”-20 threaded holes and two cold shoe mounts, this amount of mounting options enables you to customize your mobile film rig to exactly the way you want.
The Smallrig x kit has been designed to be a compact and durable one-piece cage with a simple approach to set-up and expansion. The “One-Click” locking system ensures a secure fit, while silicone pads provide excellent protection.
This iPhone video rig features SmallRig’s innovative Quick Release Ecosystem that enables tool-free installation, enabling the fast attachment of side-to-top handles. There are also three locating holes on the cage’s body, enabling you multiple options for accessories.
Included in the kit is a magnetic Variable Neutral Density (VND) filter, enabling the use of wider apertures and slower shutter speeds even in bright sunlight, resulting in superior cinematic footage.
Besides the three lenses on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the cage supports the attachment of M-Mount lenses (17mm/37mm threaded lenses and T-series lenses with optional backplates) and magnetic filters (VND, CPL, Star Cross, and ¼ Black Mist) for unparalleled creative possibilities.
What’s in the Kit
The kit includes the signed cage, two signed side handles (convertible to top handles), a wireless remote controller (with a range of up to 10 meters or 32.8 feet), and a 52mm magnetic VND filter (1 ~ 5 stops). The cage is also available for purchase separately.
