Sigma has announced an update to its popular 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro lens, price tag £699 / $799, for Sony E-mount and L-mount cameras.
The new Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro retains many of the same specs as its predecessor. The key difference is that it’s now part of the company’s Art series of optics and has been redesigned for mirrorless cameras.
Sigma says it has improved the lens’s optical quality to help combat ghosting and flare, and a new 9-blade aperture helps provide background blur.
Other features include an aperture ring for making adjustments to exposure while shooting video, a focus limiter switch and weather sealing.
The new Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro release date will be 23 October.
