Samyang has announced new XEEN CF 16mm T2.6 and 35mm T1.5 cinema prime lenses, price tag £1999.99, for PL, Canon EF and Sony E mounts.
The new Samyang XEEN CF lenses bring the range to five optics in total: 16mm T2.6, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5 and 85mm T1.5.
CF stands for ‘compact’ and ‘flexible’, and to this end the XEEN lenses are made of carbon fibre to keep them lightweight.
The new Samyang XEEN CF 16mm and 35mm lenses both feature a 43.3mm image circle and boast an X-Coating to control reflections.
Inside is an 11-blade aperture.
