Samyang – also known as Rokinon – has announced the MF 14mm f/2.8 Mk2, a revamped version of its popular ultra-wide-angle manual focus lens.

Offering a 115.7-degree wide angle view, the Samyang MF 14mm f/2.8 Mk2 is designed for interiors, landscapes and astrophotography.

New features in the Mk2 include Focus Lock and De-click. Focus Lock enables you to lock the focus ring at a specific point, which is useful for things like time-lapses and astrophotography.

De-click allows uses to make infinite fine adjustments between f stops.

Other features include a 9-blade aperture and an optical construction comprising 14 elements in 10 groups. These include three High Refractive, one Hybrid Aspherical and two Extra-low Dispersion elements.

The Samyang/Rokinon MF 14mm f/2.8 Mk2 price tag ranges from £359 to £439, and the lens is available for Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon M and Micro Four Thirds mounts.
