Samyang (also known as Rokinon) has announced a new AF 24mm F1.8 FE lens, price tag £459.99, for Sony E-mount cameras.
The latest addition to its Tiny Series lens range, the Samyang AF 24mm F1.8 FE weighs just 230g and measures 71mm in length.
Its construction comprises 11 elements in eight groups, of which seven are special elements. The Samyang AF 24mm F1.8 FE also boasts a nine-blade aperture.
Samyang has also introduced a new Custom Mode in the AF 24mm F1.8 FE, which boasts an LED indicator. Aimed at astrophotography, Custom Mode enables you to automatically move the focus directly to infinity by clicking the lens’ Focus Hold button.
Other features include a 58mm filter thread and a close focus distance of 19cm.
Samyang says the new AF 24mm F1.8 FE will be released in May.
