Samyang, also known as Rokinon, has announced the AF 12mm F2, price tag £359.99, for use with APS-C Sony E mount cameras.
The new autofocus prime lens offers a constant f/2 aperture and is comprised of 12 elements in 10 groups, which includes three Extra-low Dispersion and two Aspherical elements.
Samyang has also included its Ultra Multi Coating in order to keep ghosting and flare at bay.
Aimed at astrophotography and interior photographers, the Samyang AF 12mm F2 E also employs a newly developed stepping motor (STM) for more precise and quieter autofocus.
The Samyang AF 12mm F2 E weighs just 213g and measures 59.2mm in length. The new Samyang / Rokinon lens will be released from early May 2021.
