Rode has announced two new accessories for content creators, introducing the Thread Adaptor and Tripod 2.
The Rode Thread Adaptor is a universal adaptor kit that allows you to mount a variety of devices onto any mic stand, boom pole, tripod or studio arm. It features 1/4-, 3/8- and 5/8-inch adaptors in an integrated set that can be configured to connect any standard thread to any standard mount.
Another nice feature is that it features an attached tool for tightening and loosening the adaptors. This means you don’t have to remember to have a coin in your pocket like you do with some tripod plates.
The Rode Tripod 2 is a mini tripod that was previously available only within Rode’s Vlogger Kit but is now a standalone product.
The Rode Tripod 2 is designed for tabletop use and has a 1/4-inch thread for attaching cameras and accessories. It also includes a 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch thread adaptor for use with microphones.
