Ricoh has announced a new Pentax K-1 Mark II Silver Edition, along with Silver Editions of its 50mm F1.4 & 70-200mm F2.8 & 85mm F1.4 D FA★ lenses.
The full-frame Pentax K-1 Mark II Silver Edition has identical specs with the standard version, and the body shape and design is also the same. The main difference is the camera’s silver exterior, and a silver-coated battery grip with two exclusive batteries.
Ricoh has also updated the K-1 Silver Edition firmware so that each has a unique serial number ranging from 0000001 to 0001000.
The Pentax K-1 Silver Edition will be restricted to just 1,000 models.
Ricoh is also launching three high-grade silver version of its flagship D FA★ series lenses: the 50mm F1.4 & 70-200mm F2.8 & 85mm F1.4 D FA★.
Each of the silver edition lenses will be restricted to 600 units. Prices for all of the new silver edition items will be:
- PENTAX K-1 Mark II Silver Edition: £1,899.99
- HD PENTAX-D FA★50mmF1.4 SDM AW Silver Edition: £1,199.99
- HD PENTAX-D FA★70-200mmF2.8ED DC AW Silver Edition: £2,299.99
- HD PENTAX-D FA★85mmF1.4ED SDM AW Silver Edition: £1,999.99
All silver edition models will be released on 25 September, with the 85mm F1.4 to follow in January 2021.
