Nikon has announced a new telephoto zoom lens for its Z series, introducing the NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S, price tag £2,699 / €3,099.
Aimed at sport and wildlife photographers, the Nikon Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S is designed to focus quickly and quietly, whilst tracking fast-moving subjects.
The Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S vibration reduction provides photographers with an equivalent of 5.5 stops of compensation, enabling them to shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds.
Other features include a minimum focus distance of just 0.75m at the wide-angle end and 0.98m when it’s fully extended.
Like the Nikon Z9 announced today, the Nikkor Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S release date will be sometime in the winter of 2021.
