Fujifilm’s X-T30 III, the latest model in its X Series line of mirrorless cameras, succeeds the X-T30 II with a faster processor, expanded video options, and a new subject-detection autofocus system.

Set for release in November 2025, the compact X-T30 III, weighing just 378g, retains the classic centre viewfinder design and tactile controls that have become hallmarks of the X-T line. It houses a tilting 1.62-million-dot rear LCD, while a 26.1-megapixel back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor pairs with the newer X-Processor 5, which Fujifilm says doubles the image-processing speed compared to its predecessor. Elsewhere, the brand says the battery life has also been improved, promising up to 425 frames per charge, and the unit supports the latest subject-detection autofocus system seen in higher-end X Series models, with the AF system said to recognise and track a wider range of subjects, including animals, birds, vehicles, insects, and drones, in addition to faces and eyes.

For video users, the X-T30 III supports internal 6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit recording, along with 4K/60p and 1080/240p capture for slow-motion footage. Digital image stabilisation is also included to help reduce shake when recording handheld video, while a dedicated Film Simulation dial allows users to switch between 20 colour profiles designed to replicate Fujifilm’s traditional film stocks.

Available in black, silver, and charcoal silver, the Fujifilm X-T30 III will hit shelves in the UK at £829 for the body-only version, or £999 with the XC13–33mm F3.5–6.3 OIS lens. The lens will also be available separately for £329.
