Phase One has launch a new 100-megapixel digital back at Photokina 2016, introducing the Phase One IQ1.
The Phase One IQ1 joins the XF IQ3 100-megapixel digital back in the company’s IQ family, which offers mounting options for XF and H cameras.
Among the new Phase One digital back’s features are full frame 645 medium format images with a native size of 11608 x 8708 pixels and a native ISO range of ISO 50-12800 with CMOS sensor technology.
The Phase One IQ1 also offers 16 Bit Color Depth – true 16-bit RAW file capture – and a 15 Stop Dynamic Range.
Along with the IQ1, Phase One has also unveiled two new Schneider Kreuznach Blue Ring lenses: the 150mm f/2.8 IF – the company’s fastest Blue Ring telephoto lens – and the 45mm f/3.5.
The Schneider Kreuznach 150mm LS f/2.8 IF offers extremely shallow depth of field for portraits and landscape photography, while the Schneider Kreuznach 45mm LS f/3.5 offers edge-to-edge sharpness and is aimed at landscape, interior and architecture photographers.
What’s more, Phase One is offering photographers the choice of any Blue Ring prime lens (instead of the previously standard 80mm lens) when purchasing an XF IQ3 Camera System.
The Phase One IQ1 100MP Digital Back price tag (XF or H mount) will be €26,990 / $32,990. The Schneider Kreuznach 150mm LS f/2.8 IF costs €5,990 / $6,990, and the Schneider Kreuznach 45mm LS f/3.5 price tag is €5,290 / $5,990. All have a release date in November.
