CYME has announced two major innovations for its AI-powered media manager, Peakto, previewed this week at NAB Show 2025 in Las Vegas. The company revealed that Peakto will soon be available as a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro, while version 2.4 will also expand support to professional RAW video formats, beginning with Blackmagic RAW (BRAW).

Developed exclusively for Mac users, Peakto is already known for its smart content management, allowing photographers and videographers to catalogue, search, and preview over a million media files across different drives and projects. With the new plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro, Peakto brings these capabilities directly into the editing workflow, offering creators a powerful way to access their entire video and photo archive without ever leaving the timeline.

The plugin, built on Adobe’s Unified Extensibility Platform (UXP), enables users to search for assets across local drives and project folders using simple descriptive prompts. Peakto’s AI performs all analysis locally—eliminating the need for cloud processing and ensuring full data privacy. Editors can then drag and drop the located asset into Premiere Pro, significantly speeding up the production process.

Ideal for collaborative environments, Peakto now also includes a new sharing feature—Peakto Connect. This function turns any Mac into a local server, enabling remote access for multiple users without relying on cloud storage. It’s a cost-efficient and secure way for teams to work together, especially on projects involving large file sets and sensitive content.

Version 2.4 of Peakto extends compatibility to Apple Final Cut Pro, with DaVinci Resolve support on the horizon. Additionally, it broadens file format support to include professional-grade containers such as MXF, MKV, and AVI, and introduces initial RAW format integration with BRAW. Support for ArriRaw and RED R3D is expected soon.

“Peakto is more than just a media manager—it’s a creative accelerator,” said the team at CYME. “Our goal is to streamline asset use, reduce time spent on search, and protect the confidentiality of content. With the new Premiere Pro plugin and RAW support, we’re doing just that for video professionals.”
