Drone manufacturer Parrot has announced the release of an Extended version of the ANAFI drone. This new model features an all-new camera and flight time of one hour and fifteen minutes with the three smart batteries.
The new camera brings stunning 4K, HDR and zoom to the ANAFI’s already impressive feature list.
New camera features include:
HDR: Getting exposure right in the air can be a real challenge. High dynamic range imagery is the perfect solution enabling shadow and highlight detail within images and video to be recovered. The new HDR+ is designed for both video and photo.
Panoramics: When you have the option of a birds-eye view of the world why not harness it and take a full aerial panoramics. The ANAFI now features five different panoramic effects including Panoramic Sphere 360, Little Planet, Tunnel, Vertical 180º and Horizontal 180º.
Dolly Zoom: One of my favourite camera techniques is Dolly Zoom. There is an element of cheesiness about it, but then it worked to sterling effect in Vertigo, so why not with your own filmmaking. This effect has only been made possible by the addition of the zoom lens and at this price and size, the ANAFI is only the second drone to offer this feature.
Hyperlapse: Timelapse video by any name is impressive, but add in stabilisation and the effect can be mind-blowing, here you have the option of speeds of 15, 30, 60, 120 or 240x.
Slow Motion at 120FPS is now possible at a resolution of 720p.
The ANAFI Extended is priced at £729 RRP and is available from November 1st 2018.
