Panasonic has announced the 30x zoom Lumix TZ95 / ZS80 – price tag £399.99 / €449.99 – with a release date set for the end of April 2019.
The latest addition to the company’s travel zoom range of premium compact cameras, the Panasonic TZ95 (known as the ZS80 in the United States) uses a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor offering 20.3-megapixel resolution.
With its 30x optical zoom, the Panasonic TZ95 / ZS80’s lens reaches an equivalent focal length of 720mm and also includes Panasonic’s new Zoom Compose Assist function that helps keep track of your subjects by zooming out when they move out of the frame.
Panasonic says the TZ95 / ZS80 offers AF speeds of 0.1sec, while it can achieve burst rates of 10fps.
Panasonic’s usual 4K Photo modes are here, along with its new Auto Marking function to help identify your best frames from a sequence. You can also record 4K video.
On the back of the TZ95 / ZS80 is a 3-inch, 1,040k-dot touchscreen that can tilt 180 degrees, along with a 0.21-inch, 2,330k-dot Live View Finder.
Other features include raw file capture, GPS tagging and built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
