Panasonic has announced the LUMIX TZ99, its latest compact travel zoom camera, designed to capture life’s adventures with precision and portability. Packed into a pocket-sized body, the TZ99 combines a 30x optical zoom with 4K photo and video capabilities, making it an excellent choice for on-the-go photographers and travellers.
At the heart of the TZ99 is a 24-720mm LEICA DC lens (35mm equivalent), delivering versatility for everything from sweeping landscapes to detailed telephoto shots. Users can extend this range further with 60x iZoom for even greater reach. Panasonic’s 5-axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ ensures images and videos remain sharp and blur-free, even at full zoom.
The TZ99 excels at capturing fleeting moments, thanks to its 4K PHOTO burst mode at 30fps, while 4K video recording at 30p provides crisp footage. Additionally, Full HD high-speed video at 120fps adds creative flexibility for slow-motion shots.
Key travel-ready features include a tiltable 1,840k-dot touchscreen for creative angles, USB Type-C charging for convenience, and built-in Bluetooth v5.0 for instant image sharing. A dedicated Send Image button streamlines the transfer process to smartphones, making it easy to share images on the go.
