The Panasonic GH5 and three new Leica lenses have gone on display in Paris, offering a first look at the company’s new flagship Lumix camera.
These images, posted by 4/3 Rumors, were taken by Pier-Yves Menkhoff of Weddingetcetera.com at Salon De La Photo in Paris, where it appears that the Panasonic GH5 was unveiled before a select audience.
Our French isn’t so hot, but what we can ascertain from some of the slides in the images is that the new Panasonic camera will offer 4K video at 60p, as well as an 18-megapixel 6K Photo mode.
The Panasonic GH5, of course, was announced as a development project at Photokina 2016.
Its unveiling here in Paris would suggest that the project has at least reached a prototype stage, and in the new year we might hopefully see a Panasonic GH5 release date.
