Panasonic has announced the AG-CX370, a powerful new addition to its professional camcorder lineup, bringing robust 4K capabilities, advanced connectivity, and a streamlined workflow to broadcasters, event videographers, and content producers. With support for HDR, NDI streaming, and wireless data transfer, the CX370 is purpose-built for modern live production environments.

The AG-CX370 features a 1.0-type (1-inch) MOS sensor capable of capturing high-resolution 4K UHD video at up to 60p. The sensor is paired with a fixed 20x optical zoom lens that offers a 24.5mm wide-angle field of view, extending to 490mm at the telephoto end (35mm equivalent). With i.Zoom functionality, the zoom range can extend up to 32x in HD mode without sacrificing image quality.

HDR recording is supported through HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), making the camera ideal for future-proof content delivery on broadcast and digital platforms. Internal recording is possible in multiple formats, including HEVC, AVC Ultra, and AVC-Intra, offering flexibility for different production needs. For field reliability, dual SD card slots allow relay or simultaneous backup recording.

A standout feature of the CX370 is its built-in NDI|HX support, enabling IP-based video transmission for seamless integration into networked production systems. The camera also includes built-in Wi-Fi, LAN, and optional 4G LTE USB modem support for FTP transfers, RTMP/RTSP streaming, and remote control via Panasonic’s CX ROP app. These features are tailored for real-time delivery of news, sports, and live events.

Additional professional features include 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs, XLR audio inputs, and variable frame rate recording. The CX370 is housed in a compact, shoulder-mountable design that balances portability with professional handling and control layout.

With the AG-CX370, Panasonic continues its commitment to hybrid live production tools, offering a future-ready camcorder that meets the evolving demands of broadcast and digital video workflows.
