The OM System has added its first post-Olympus lens, introducing the M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO, price tag $799.99.
The new compact, lightweight Micro Four Thirds lens is comprised of 11 elements in 10 groups, of which there are Super ED, ED, Super HR and aspherical lens elements.
The new M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO is designed to be used in Olympus’ / OM System’s High Res Shot mode, promising edge to edge sharpness.
The new OM System M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO also uses a ZERO coating to help reduce flare and ghosting and boost colour when shooting in strong light.
The bright f/1.4 aperture promises smooth background bokeh and shallow depth of field effects, and the new OM System lens weighs just 247g.
Other features include a dust-, freeze- and splash-proof design, and a fluorine coating on the front lens element enables water to roll off.
The OM System M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO release date will be from the end of December 2021.
