The Nikon Z9 is now in stock at some photographic retailers and is expected to be widely available by the end of 2022.
US retailer B&H Photo Video is now listing the Nikon Z9 as in stock and ready to ship. Meanwhile, other retailers like Best Buy and Adorama have updated their status for the camera from ‘pre-order’ to ‘backordered’. This would suggest that they’re expecting shipments of the Nikon Z9 fairly soon.
Meanwhile, in Europe the Nikon Z9 is expected to be in stock and more widely available by the end of 2022, according to Nikon. Nikon Rumors reports that Nikon Service Point Dresden has said that German retailers will receive a large shipment of Z9 cameras in the next few weeks which should enable them to fulfil most of their pre-orders.
The full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at professionals has been on pre-order for some time as Nikon has dealt with chip shortages.
