Nikon has had success at the EISA Awards 2024-2025, receiving top awards in five categories. This year’s wins underscore Nikon’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the photography industry.

The newly released Nikon Z6III was named “Advanced Full-Frame Camera 2024-2025,” a remarkable achievement just two months after its launch. Judges praised the Z6III for incorporating many features from Nikon’s professional Z8 and Z9 cameras, all at a more accessible price point. The camera was lauded for its new, brighter OLED viewfinder and versatile 3.2-inch fully articulated screen. Additionally, its 24.5MP partially stacked image sensor offers fast readout speeds, reducing rolling shutter distortion and eliminating viewfinder blackout during continuous shooting. The judges highlighted the Z6III’s outstanding noise performance at high ISO values and its image stabilizer, which provides up to 8 stops of compensation at the active autofocus point.

In the “Full-Frame Camera 2024-2025” category, the Nikon Zf was recognized for its blend of classic design and modern technology. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Nikon FM2 35mm film SLR, the Zf features a 24MP full-frame sensor, EXPEED 7 image processor, and a broad ISO range of 100-64,000, making it a top-tier choice for both professional photography and video recording. The camera’s retro design, with analogue dials for exposure settings, was highlighted as a standout feature, appealing to photographers who value both aesthetics and performance.

Nikon’s NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens took home the award for “Portrait Lens 2024-2025.” The lens impressed judges with its fast autofocus, exceptional sharpness, and beautiful background blur rendering. Described as an “outstanding portrait lens,” it also features weather-sealing and programmable function buttons, making it versatile for both photography and serious video production.

The NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR lens was awarded the “Superzoom Lens 2024-2025” title, recognized as the world’s longest-ranging superzoom lens for full-frame cameras. Its 14.2x zoom ratio covers a wide range of photographic subjects, from landscapes to wildlife, and its high-resolution optics deliver impressive results in various conditions. The lens’s compact design and affordability make it an attractive option for travelers, everyday users, and photojournalists alike.

Finally, the NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR lens earned the “Super-Telephoto Zoom Lens 2024-2025” award. This lens was noted for its sharpness throughout its focal length range and its value for money, making wildlife and sports photography accessible to budget-conscious photographers. The lens features a 3.3x zoom ratio, Vibration Reduction for up to 5.5 stops of shake compensation, and comprehensive weather-sealing, ensuring performance in challenging conditions.

These awards reinforce Nikon’s reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality photographic equipment. With these accolades, Nikon continues to empower photographers and videographers to push the boundaries of creativity and technical excellence.
