RØDE has launched its annual short film competition, My RØDE Reel, for 2021 with a top prize of $250,000.
Now in its 8th year, My RØDE Reel is open for filmmakers and content creators to win what is the largest ever cash prize offered in a short film competition.
To enter, creators must submit a three-minute short film by Wednesday, 20 October 2021, the closing date for entries.
More than 20,000 films have been submitted to the My RØDE Reel competition since its inception in 2014, with creators hailing from more than 100 countries around the world.
To enter, visit the My RØDE Reel website and read the starter pack. You can then make a three-minute film of your choosing, and then make a three-minute behind-the-scenes film that features a RØDE product.
You then need to upload both films to YouTube and submit them at the My RØDE Reel website.
The winner of the major prize, the prestigious Judges’ Choice, will win US$250,000 plus a gear prize pack. The winners of the genre and special categories will win US$10,000 plus a gear prize pack. The two runners up of each category will also win a gear prize pack.
