Zhong Yi Optics has announced the Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5, price tag from $599, a new portrait lens promising superb low-light performance.
The new Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5 offers a medium telephoto angle of view and is available in Canon RF, Nikon Z, Sony FE and Leica M mounts.
The bright f/1.5 aperture promises smooth bokeh effects at its maximum aperture, and overall great control over depth of field thanks to its nine-blade aperture.
The Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5 is comprised of nine elements in six groups, which includes two extra-low dispersion elements to reduce fringing and chromatic aberrations.
The Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5 is a manual focus lens, however, in its Leica M mount iteration it can utilise autofocus with third-party adapters.
The new Mitakon Speedmaster 90mm f/1.5 price tag is $599 for the Canon RF, Nikon Z and Sony FE mount versions. The Leica M mount version is priced $649.
