Meyer-Optik has officially released the first new Trioplan lens, the 100mm f/2.8 II, since the company’s relaunch.
The new Meyer-Optik 100mm f/2.8 II is now available for Sony E, Canon EF, Nikon F, Fujifilm X, Leica L and M, Pentax K and Micro Four Thirds mounts.
Meyer-Optik’s new Trioplan lens features a new optical design which is said to help it achieve greater contrast and resolution.
This ‘Triplet’ optical design comprises three elements in three groups to help it produce a ‘soap bubble’ style bokeh.
Other features include a 15-blade diaphragm and a minimum focusing distances of 3.3 feet, or one metre.
