Skylum has released an update to its Luminar photo editing software promising speed boosts and new features for Mac and Windows users.
The update follows the release of Luminar 3.1 just last month which introduced the new Human Aware technology. The 3.1.1 bring less dramatic improvements, but some nice enhancements nonetheless.
Launch time improvements have cut the time it takes for Luminar to start up, both for Mac and Windows versions, Skylum says. Skylum has also streamlined the album creation process for Mac users.
Windows users now have the option to right-click an image and locate all other images taken on the same day. Similarly, Mac users now have the option to right-click on an image and go to the folder where it exists.
These enhancements are intended to speed up photographers’ workflow and navigation.
The Luminar 3.1.1 updates are available for download now for both Mac and Windows users.
Alternatively you can purchase Luminar for a one-off fee of £65 / $69.
