Leica Camera AG has unveiled stunning glossy black editions of the Leica M11 and the Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. lens, combining the brand’s hallmark craftsmanship with an iconic aesthetic. The Leica M-System, first introduced in 1954 with the Leica M3, is celebrated worldwide for its timeless rangefinder design. This new release pays homage to that legacy with a paint finish that evolves over time to reveal a brass patina, telling a personal story unique to each user.

The Leica M11 glossy black edition features a brass top plate with matching dials and a seamless “Leica” engraving on the top plate. Subtle design updates, such as the glossy silver chromed shutter button and intricate knurling on the ISO and time dials, elevate the camera’s sophisticated look. Notably, Leica has omitted its iconic red dot logo to enhance the camera’s understated elegance, a decision embraced by photographers who value discretion.

Complementing the camera, the Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. lens now comes in a matching glossy black variant. Renowned for its superior image quality, exceptional light intensity, and signature bokeh, this classic lens is further refined with a black-painted round lens hood and caps. The red “feet” scale adds a touch of visual contrast to this exquisite design.

Additionally, Leica is introducing a new taupe colourway for three premium M accessories crafted from high-quality cowhide leather: the M11 protector, M-System case, and an adjustable carrying strap.
