Insta360 has launched the Insta360 Awards, a new competition that will give away prizes worth up to $2000 to the best global 360 content.
The Insta360 Awards will accept submissions of both 360 videos and photos, as well as techniques specific to Insta360’s products, such as Free Capture and Bullet Time.
The Insta360 Awards will also accept entries on any theme, no matter how big or small. Edited content, such as a montage of 360 videos, or 360 videos converted into fixed-frame content using FreeCapture, is also eligible for awards, Insta360 says.
The company says that the Awards scheme will consist of two tiers: Pioneer Awards will give out $150 for winning videos, and winning photos will receive $100.
A quarterly Legend Award of $2,000 will also be rewarded to submissions that rise above the rest with their exceptional artistry or subject matter, Insta360 says.
All winners will have their work promoted, with attribution, to Insta360’s global audience. Legend Award winners will also have opportunities to participate in exclusive workshops and events, along with having their content featured in-depth on Insta360’s social channels and blog.
Images and video captured by all of Insta360’s products – including the Insta360 Pro, Insta360 ONE, Insta360 Nano and Insta360 Air – will be eligible for awards, with a minimum image resolution of 3K for submissions.
