Sigma will soon launch a new 14-24mm f/2.8 ART lens, according to new images leaked online.
The blog Nokishita has published images it claims to have received from ‘overseas sources’ showing the latest addition to Sigma’s ART lens range.
The new 14-24mm f/2.8 ART lens is believed to comprise 17 elements in 11 groups and boast a nine-blade aperture. It is also said to offer a maximum magnification of 1:5.4.
As PetaPixel points out, Sigma already offers a 12-24mm f/4 ART lens, which is a stop slower than this new model would be.
The f/4 lens is priced $1,600, so we can expect the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 ART lens price tag to exceed this amount.
The new Sigma ART lens is expected to be released in Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts.
