Honor will be the first smartphone manufacturer to participate as an exhibitor at Photokina, organisers of the trade show have announced.

Honor will be part of the show’s new Mobile Imaging Lounge, where companies will demonstrate new concepts, products, services and business ideas that could shape the future of imaging.

Organisers say that some 50 companies will be exhibiting in an Imaging Lab, which will include a lot of start-up businesses in the imaging industry.

Chinese smartphone-maker Honor will be on hand in the Mobile Imaging Lounge within the Lab to show off its current models and demonstrate its AI functionality in a series of workshops.
