Hasselblad has announced its widest angle lens to date, introducing the XCD 21mm f/4 lens, price tag £2749 / €2999 / $3750.
The fifth lens in Hasselblad’s XCD lens range, the new 21mm f/4 lens provides a full-frame equivalent focal length of 17mm and offers a 32cm close focusing with a 1:10 magnification ratio.
Its optical design comprises 13 elements in nine groups, which includes two aspherical elements.
Like Hasselblad’s other XCD lenses, the XCD 21mm f/4 features an integrated central shutter offering speeds between 1/2000sec and 60 minutes, with apertures ranging from f/4 to f/32.
The Hasselblad XCD 21mm f/4 is due for release at the end of May.
