GoPro has filed trademarks for two new possible forthcoming products: photo and video editing software and an LED light attachment.
After being discovered in the FCC’s testing system, the GoPro Hero9 Black would appear to be firmly in the pipeline. This prompted Dronedj – which discovered the FCC link last week – to dig further, and it found the trademarks for GoPro’s new products.
According to the trademark filings:
MURAL trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of downloadable computer software for video, image and photo creation, production and editing; downloadable software tools for image, photo and video editing; downloadable computer software that enables users to create, produce, edit and share videos, digital images, photos, text, graphics, music, audio, video clips, and multimedia content; downloadable computer software for creating, viewing, sorting, organizing, manipulating, managing, rendering, indexing, storing, transferring, uploading, downloading and sharing videos, digital images, photos, text, graphics, music, audio, video clips, and multimedia content with others via computer networks, mobile telephones, and other communications devices.
ZEUS trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of lights for use in illuminating people, animals, objects, scenery and surroundings; flashlights; LED flashlights; electric flashlights; flashlights for illumination purposes; searchlights; outdoor portable lighting products, namely, headlamps; headlights for illumination purposes.
No official GoPro Hero9 Black release date has been announced, but if history is any guide we can expect an announcement later this year around September or October.
