GoPro will launch an entry-level action camera to its HERO range this week, which will boast a price tag of just $180 to $200, according to leaked documents.
The website Nokoshita discovered a HERO-branded PDF document written in French that details some of the specifications the new entry-level GoPro camera will have.
The new entry-level GoPro HERO camera will shoot 1080p video at 60p and 1440p resolution video at 60p. It can also capture 10-megapixel still images and shoot at up to 10fps, as well as timelapses at 0.5sec intervals.
According to the pdf the new GoPro HERO camera will also incorporate WiFi and Bluetooth capability, as well as GoPro’s Quik Stories functionality.
Other points to note from the leaked pdf: the new entry-level GoPro HERO camera will offer voice control as well as a touchscreen. It will also be waterproof down to 10m.
Nokoshita says the new GoPro camera will be announced on 30 March, and PhotoR Rumors claims it will cost between $180 and $200.
