Fujifilm has announced the development of three new GF lenses within its mirrorless medium format GFX system, the GF100-200mm f/5.6, GF50mm f/3.5 and GF45-100mm f/4.
Fujifilm officially added the FUJINON GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR telephoto zoom, FUJINON GF45-100mm F4 R LM OIS WR medium telephoto zoom and FUJINON GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR standard lens at Photokina 2018, bringing its total GF range to 11 lenses.
GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR telephoto zoom lens
With an equivalent focal range of 79-158mm in 35mm format, this lens can be used with the existing GF1.4X TC WR teleconverter to cover the focal length range of 140mm to 280mm (equivalent to 111-221mm in the 35mm film format).
GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR compact prime lens
This becomes the smallest and the lightest lens in the GF range, with an equivalent focal length of 40mm.
GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR mid telephoto zoom lens
This covers a focal length range equivalent to 36mm to 79mm and is designed for portraiture and snapshots. When combined with the existing GF32-64mmF4 RLM WR, GF100-200mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR and the teleconverter, the four lenses now make a set that covers focal lengths from 32mm to 280mm (equivalent to 25-221mm).
