Fujifilm has announced the FUJINON XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR lens, price tag £899, a new wide-angle zoom that offers an equivalent focal length of 15-36mm.
The new FUJINON XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR provides a constant f/4.0 aperture across the entire focal length. Its aperture ring has also been updated with an f-stop scale to allow users to check what aperture the lens is set to.
The aperture ring also boasts a similar Auto-position lock as found on Fujifilm’s GF lenses, which prevents unexpected aperture ring movements.
Fujifilm has also introduced a new weather-resistant structure. The XF10-24mm lens is resistant to both dust and moisture, and it can operated in temperatures as low as -10 degrees C.
The FUJINON XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR lens construction consists of 14 elements in 10 groups, four of which are aspherical elements and four are extra-low dispersion elements.
The FUJINON XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR lens weighs just 385g and offers a 72mm filter size.
Fujifilm says the FUJINON XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR lens’ release date will be late November 2020.
