Fujifilm has released firmware 3.00 for its medium format GFX 50S, which introduces new 35mm Format and Focus Bracketing modes.
With firmware version 3.00 GFX 50S users will now be able to shoot central 36.0mm x 24.0mm (30.5M) cropped images in both JPEG and RAW file formats. Fuji says that when using 35mm format adapters, it will be easier to adjust the image size to 35mm format image circle lenses by changing the setting.
Meanwhile the new Focus Bracketing mode will let GFX 50S photographers shoot focus distance bracketing up to 999 frames.
Fujifilm says that when the photographer starts shooting, the focal location will shift with each activation of the shutter by the step of focus shift set from 1 to 10.
GFX firmware 3.00 also expands the compatibility of Fujifilm’s H Mount Adapter G accessory to include more lenses. Click here to see all of the lenses and accessories compatible with the adapter.
