DxO has announced the release of PureRAW 4.6, the latest update to its RAW image processing software, now available for photographers seeking superior image quality and file management flexibility. This new version brings DxO’s renowned DeepPRIME XD2s technology, previously exclusive to PhotoLab 8, to PureRAW, enhancing demosaicing, noise reduction, and detail extraction. Designed to benefit photographers using cameras with high ISO settings or challenging lighting conditions, DeepPRIME XD2s provides improved image clarity, smoothness, and preservation of fine details.

DeepPRIME XD2s is known for its advanced AI-driven algorithms that analyze each image, providing significant improvement in low-light performance and clarity. The technology uses a unique demosaicing and noise reduction process to achieve highly detailed and visually pleasing results, particularly useful for photographers who want pristine images with minimal effort in post-processing.

DxO PureRAW 4.6 introduces new tools to streamline file management. Batch renaming now includes four renaming options, allowing photographers greater control over file organization. Original RAW files can now be renamed directly within the Lightbox using a right-click menu, simplifying management without needing external file organization software. This change is particularly useful for photographers handling large photo collections and needing flexible and intuitive ways to keep files organized.

Another major feature in this release is the new comparison tool, which enables users to view original RAW files alongside any processed version, even when multiple exports are involved. This functionality allows for quick assessments of DxO’s processing impact, making it easier for photographers to evaluate the improvements that PureRAW 4.6 delivers. This tool is accessible in the preview area and supports a drop-down menu, simplifying comparisons across multiple output versions.

DxO PureRAW 4.6 also offers enhanced processing and preview performance, with optimizations that allow faster output and more efficient handling of large RAW files. These speed improvements streamline workflows, making it a valuable addition for professionals who require high-quality results with quick turnaround times.
