The DJI Mavic Pro II drone will boast a 1-inch sensor with a release date slated for March 2018, according to a report.
DRN, a drone reviews and news website, says a source told it that DJI will begin production on the Mavic Pro II drone this week, and that the new drone is expected to be released next month.
Inside the Mavic Pro II will be a 1-inch CMOS sensor with a 28mm lens, binocular rear sensors and a 4820 mAh battery that provides 35 minutes of flight time.
DRN says the new Mavic Pro II will share a similar body design with its sibling, the Mavic Air; however the Pro II will be a little bit larger owing to the bigger sensor and larger battery.
Last month DJI announced the Mavic Air, which maintains the foldable design as the original Mavic, but in a smaller body that can fit within your pocket when folded up.
