CAZE is a memory card holder and card reader in one and has been developed with the aim of simplifying the way photographers handle and store memory cards.
The CAZE, when used as a memory card reader, offers full compatibility with all Type-C devices, including the latest iPhone 15 series and a wide array of Android phones, tablets, and laptops. This universal compatibility is a significant advantage if you use multiple devices. The case boasts a decent storage capacity that’s physical rather than digital, accommodating 4x SD, 12x Micro SD, and 4x Nano SIM cards, plus an Eject Pin and USB Adapter. This comprehensive storage solution addresses a common issue for photographers who need to manage various memory cards and devices on the go, although as yet there is no CFExpress Type-A or B solution.
What sets CAZE apart is its advanced multi-layer protection system. This includes precision-engineered card slots, an inner sealing ring for dust and moisture resistance, a sturdy aluminium alloy exterior, and a shock-absorbing silicone shell. This additional protection is handy if you’re the type of photographer who frequently works outside.
The speed of data transfer is worth noting as the CAZE supports SD4.0 UHS-II, offering speeds of up to 312MB/s, and USB 3.1 Gen 2, capable of up to 10Gb/s. This means you can transfer your image after a shoot nice and quickly. Moreover, CAZE can read multiple storage devices simultaneously, a feature that enhances efficiency during busy shoots.
Another innovative aspect of CAZE is its Indicator Switcher, allowing you to track the status of you memory cards. This feature helps identify which cards are full and which are available, simplifying storage management. If you often exchange cards, CAZE has been designed for convenience, with recessed SD card slots and easily accessible MicroSD slots, allowing for quick card retrieval.
CAZE’s design also considers the needs of photographers who travel frequently or work in harsh environments. The durable aluminium alloy and silicone shell exterior is built to withstand travel and varied shooting conditions including the British winter.
