Canon has announced EOS Webcam Utility, a new free software that allows users to connect their Canon DSLR or PowerShot compact camera to a Mac or PC computer for use as a webcam.
The EOS Webcam Utility is available now for PC users, with support for MacOS to follow soon, Canon says.
The software promises to boost low-light performance, colour and depth of field on web calls.
