Canon has introduced two new all-in-one inkjet printers, the PIXMA MG3050 series (price tag £69.99/€79.99) and the PIXMA MG2550S (£44.99/€49.99).
Both the PIXMA MG3050 series and PIXMA MG2550S employ Canon’s hybrid ink system, which comprises dye- and pigment-based inks for what Canon calls photo-lab quality prints.
Each PIXMA printer also features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity to enable wireless printing from laptops and PCs, as well as smartphones and tablets using the Canon PRINT app.
What’s more, Canon’s cloud printing enables you to print from social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Google Drive and others.
The new Canon printers also claim to help photographers manage their photos with a new My Image Garden feature – compatible with both Mac and PC – which organises images in a central location and allows you to create different layouts before printing.
Meanwhile, the PIXMA MG3050 series sets itself apart with a new 5x5in square style photo printing option, as well as a Easy-PhotoPrint+ for printing from a tablet, PC or Mac, helping you get creative using images stored on mobiles or in the cloud. Users can choose from a range of templates, such as greeting cards and calendars.
